Have you ever wondered if you have what it takes to start your own business? Do you often think whether or not you are fit for entrepreneurship? Well, here are the top three signs that you were born to be an entrepreneur. By the end of this article, you’ll know the top you’ll not only know if you were made to be an entrepreneur, but also if you are fit for success in running your own business.

There are certain telltale traits that separate people who want to be entrepreneurial but are not made to be, from those who are actually more likely to succeed in starting up their business. Here are those traits.

You are okay with working alone

If you are okay with working alone, you are probably a resourceful self-starter. You like doing things your way because you do the work to find the answers to the questions that you have. You are extremely proactive about solving problems, meaning that no one needs to tell you to do it or how to do it. Now, if your heart is set on entrepreneurship and you’re telling yourself right now that you’re not proactive or resourceful at all, then this is a skill that you could probably just acquire through practice. For myself, I’ve always been pretty proactive and ambitious with solving my own problems. However, I’ve been able to become more of a self-starter throughout my life experiences. For example, one time I had a boss who told me that I needed to do as much research as possible and figure out the answer to any problem that I have before going to him first. He wanted to be the absolute last resort before I came to him because his time was very valuable. Sometimes there are experiences that make you become more proactive. However, this is something that you could practice on and get better at.

You have a high proof of resiliency

The second sign that you were born to be an entrepreneur is that you have a high proof of resiliency. To be extremely resilient, you need to not only be very confident in yourself, but also optimistic. You need to believe in yourself more than anyone, and when someone kicks you down figuratively, you say, “Nope, I’m going to use that as motivation to prove you all wrong!” That’s how you win, and you also do it with a smile. Being resilient also means that you aren’t afraid to make mistakes. You understand that when you make a mistake, you’re going to learn from it and you love learning.

You have a growth mindset

The third sign that you were a born entrepreneur is that you embody a growth mindset. You can go ahead and Google what a growth mindset means specifically, but essentially it means that you love change, you like uncertainty, and you love learning and growing. You absolutely love a challenge and you want to make an impact and a difference in the world. If you have a growth mindset, you want to make sure that you are developing and growing as a person through everything that you do in your life.
